Funder mandated retention periods

Some funders will mandate the length of time to retain research data. Check your funder’s guidelines for any instructions on how long investigators are expected to steward the data generated from the sponsored project. If there are not specific time periods mandated, or your project was not funded by a grant, follow Emory’s records retention policies.
